Making General Settings Before Printing
In addition to job-specific settings such as paper size, the printer driver
also lets you control general settings like the port to which the printer cable
is connected and other optional items. You can change these settings
after installing the driver or any time your operating environment changes
by using the various tabs located in the Pi6000 Properties window.
Installing the printer driver causes Properties to be automatically set to
defaults that are applicable for most general printing needs. Normally you
can use these initial default settings without changing them. The following
table shows where you should go in the Properties window to make
specific settings.
Printer Properties Settings
For full details on each of the settings that appear on the tabs in the
Pi6000 Properties window, contact your network administrator and
see the documentation that comes with Windows NT.
To display Pi6000 Properties, go to the Printers window, right-click the
Minolta Pi6000 icon, and then click “Properties” on the menu that appears.
