Introduction 

Only qualified personnel should setup the RGX™ Gateway.  
Choose a setup area that is in a nonhazardous location and has a clean, uncluttered surface on which to 

work. Ensure the area includes a power source that is compatible with the unit's charging power supply 
cord.  
Additional setup needs will be supplied throughout this chapter. Needs will vary based on a unit’s intended 
placement, operational power source, communication settings, and other factors.  

Unpack  

During the unpacking process, account for and examine each ordered item. If any item is missing or 
appears to have been damaged, contact 

Industrial Scientific

 or an authorized distributor of Industrial 

Scientific products.  After unpacking, peel the protective plastic liner from the RGX case lid.
