You can add three types of shortcuts: application shortcuts, URL shortcuts, 
and document shortcuts.

To add application shortcuts, do the following:
1 Tap the work or play panel where you want to add shortcuts.
2 Tap the Add button in the lower-right corner. The Add panel appears. 

You will then notice that an active area with a dotted rectangle appears to 
the left of this panel at the same time.

3 Tap the Add Applications bar.
4 Locate the application shortcut from either Start Menu or the Desktop.
5 Drag the shortcut icon to near the active area. The dotted rectangle turns 

green. Release the icon. The shortcut is now added.

To add URL shortcuts, do the following:
1 Tap the work or play panel where you want to add shortcuts.
2 Tap the Add button in the lower-right corner. The Add panel appears. 

You will then notice that an active area with a dotted rectangle appears to 
the left of this panel at the same time.

3 Tap the Add URLs bar.
4 Several URLs are provided by default for your convenience. If the URL 

you want to add is in the list, drag the thumbnail icon to near the active 
area. The dotted rectangle turns green. Release the icon. The shortcut is 
now added.

5 If the URL you want to add is not included, tap the Add URL icon in the 

lower-left corner of this panel, type the URL, and then tap Done. The 
URL shortcut is now added.

To add document shortcuts, do the following:
1 Tap the work or play panel where you want to add shortcuts.

 If the application file cannot be located from either the Start menu or the Desktop, 

tap Browse… and navigate to the file within the file system.
