Treatment of the lamp 
- Please don't drop the lamp or push against it.  
- Please don't disassemble the lamp, don't make alterations. 
 
Installation 
- Can't be used in dimming circuit. 
- Don't install inside a recessed area in the wall. 
- Don't use lids without ventilation openings. 
- Don't cover with a glass bowl. 
- For lamps with a weight significantly higher than that of the lamps for which they are  
a  replacement, attention should be drawn to the fact that the increased weitht may reduce the 
mechanical stability of certain luminaire. 
 
Electrical connection 
- Use only in indoor areas at an ambient temperature 25°C. 
- Don't use as emergency lighting. 
- To avoid electrical shock, don't install in damp or wet locations. 
 
Remarks 
- Don't touch the lamp directly with your hand or face when it is in use to avoid burns.  
- If the lamp is damaged, replace it by a new one and don't try to repair it in order to avoid hazards. 
- If this lamp should be replaced by a heavier one, please take care that the mechanical stability of 
the luminaire could be impaired by the increased weight.  
-  Energy saving lamps containing a small amount of quicksilver/mercury (ca. 5 mg). Nevertheless 
the toxicity of this small amount requires a disposal as hazarduse waste.     
- In the case a lamp breaks, there is no direct risk for the healthiness, but don’t touch powdery 
substances, improve air ventilation. Keep children away. 
 
Warnings 
 
- This product complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules but may cause interference to TV, radio, 
wireless remote control or maritime safety communication equipment or other critical navigation 
or communication equipment operating between 0.45---30 MHZ. If interference would occur, 
move the lamp away from the appliance a distance of three feet or more, or plug the lamp or the 
appliance into a different outlet.
