Setting the Antenna Mode Using the CLI
1.
Type
configure to enter global configuration mode.
HP420#configure
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with
CTRL/Z
HP420(config)#
2.
Type
interface wireless g to enter interface configuration mode.
HP420(config)#interface wireless g
Enter Wireless configuration commands, one per line.
HP420(if-wireless g)#
3.
Type
antenna-mode diversity if using a diversity antenna.
HP420(config)#antenna-mode diversity
Type
antenna-mode single if using a non-diversity antenna.
HP420(config)#antenna-mode single
Setting the Antenna Mode Using the Web Interface
1.
Select the
Configuration tab.
2.
Click the [
Port/Radio Settings]
button.
3.
Scroll down to the
External Antennas section at the bottom of the page.
4.
From the
Antenna Mode drop-down menu, select Diversity or Single for the
type of antenna attached to the access point.
5.
Click the
[Apply Changes]
button.
