Wireless LAN
6.1 Overview
This chapter discusses how to configure the wireless network settings in your WAP7205.
The following figure provides an example of a wireless network.

The wireless network is the part in the blue circle. In this wireless network, devices A and B are called
wireless clients. The wireless clients use the access point (AP) to interact with other devices (such as the
printer) or with the Internet. Your WAP7205 is the AP.

6.2 What You Can Do
• Use the General screen (
) to turn the wireless connection on or off, enter the
SSID, select the channel, and configure wireless security between the WAP7205 and the wireless
clients.
• Use the More AP screen (
) to enable and configure multiple wireless networks
on the WAP7205.
