RISCO Group and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Seller”) warrant its products to

be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 12 months

from the date of production. Because Seller does not install or connect the product

and because the product may be used in conjunction with products not manufactured

by the Seller, Seller can not guarantee the performance of the security system

which uses this product. Seller’s obligation and liability under this warranty is

expressly limited to repairing and replacing, at Seller’s option, within a reasonable

time after the date of delivery, any product not meeting the specifications. Seller

makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, and makes no warranty of

merchantability or of fitness for any particular purpose.
In no case shall seller be liable for any consequential or incidental damages for

breach of this or any other warranty, expressed or implied, or upon any other basis

of liability whatsoever.
Seller’s obligation under this warranty shall not include any transportation charges

or costs of installation or any liability for direct, indirect, or consequential damages

or delay.
Seller does not represent that its product may not be compromised or circumvented;

that the product will prevent any persona; injury or property loss by burglary, robbery,

fire or otherwise; or that the product will in all cases provide adequate warning or

protection. Buyer understands that a properly installed and maintained alarm may

only reduce the risk of burglary, robbery or fire without warning, but is not insurance

or a guaranty That such will not occur or that there will be no personal injury or

property loss as a result.
Consequently seller shall have no liability for any personal injury, property damage

or other loss based on a claim that the product fails to give warning. However, if

seller is held liable, whether directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage arising

from under this limited warranty or otherwise, regardless of cause
or origin, seller’s maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the

product, which shall be complete and exclusive remedy against  seller.
No employee or representative of Seller is authorized to change this warranty in

any way or grant any other warranty.
WARNING: This product should be tested at least once a week

CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.

Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

General Description
The 2 Button Panic Keyfob is a single function transmitter used

to signal a panic alarm in time of distress. It prevents false alarms

by requiring that both buttons be depressed simultaneously in

order to cause an alarm.  It is compatible with RISCO Group's

programmable wireless receivers/panels and is available in

433.92 or 868.65 MHz frequency bands.
The Keyfob can be attached to a key chain, worn as pendant or

mounted on a belt using the supplied belt clip. Additional features

include:
¥ Low battery and transmission LED indication
¥ Uses one of 16 million codes without dipswitches
¥ Includes lithium battery with 3-year battery life
Communication Setup
The Keyfob must identify itself to the receiver/panel by writing

its pre-coded address into the receiver's/panel's address

memory.  Each Keyfob is assigned to an individual wireless

zone.

1. Set the receiver to learning mode.
2. Send a Write message by pressing both buttons for at least

7 seconds.

3. Verify that the Keyfob has been identified by the receiver

/panel.

4. Set the receiver/panel to normal mode operation.
Operation
For a panic signal to be generated, both panic buttons must

be pressed simultaneously.  This feature reduces the risk of

false alarms.
The red LED lights during signal transmission.

Note:  

In order to save battery life the unit is designed to

send a panic message for 7 seconds only, even if the buttons

remain continuously pressed.

Battery Protection
A battery test is performed during each transmission. If the

battery is low, the red LED will blink during transmission,

indicating that the battery must be replaced. A “Low Battery”

message is also sent to the programmable receiver/panel.

 When replacing the battery be sure to use the

same battery type. Failure to comply with this instruction may

result in damage to personel and/or equipment.

Dispose of used batteries according to the proper local

regulations.
Battery replacement is easily accomplished by performing the

following steps:
1. Remove the screw on the back cover and separate the two

sides of the plastic casing, using a screwdriver.

2. Remove the battery and insert a new one instead. Pay

attention to the polarity. The Negative (-) polarity must be

face down towards the PCB.

3. Reattach the two parts of the plastic casing and the  screw.
4. Perform a communication check with the receiver/panel to

verify proper operation.

Belt Clip Attachment
1. To attach, press the belt clip to the Keyfob as shown until

a click is heard.

2. To disassemble, open the unit and use a screwdriver to

remove the belt clip.

Description générale
Le porte-clé de panique à 2 boutons est un simple émetteur

prévu pour signaler un état de détresse en cas de panique. Il

évite les fausses alarmes en nécessitant la pression simultanée

de deux boutons pour déclancher l’alarme. Il est compatible

avec les récepteurs/claviers sans fils de Risco Group dans la

gamme de fréquence 433.92 ou 868.65 MHz.
Cet accessoire peut-être porté comme porte-clé à une chaîne,

en pendentif ou monté à la ceinture en utilisant l’attache de

ceinture prévu à cet effet. Accessoires additionnels inclus:
¥ Indicateur de transmission LED et d’état de batterie faible
¥ Utilisation de 16 millions de codes sans micro interrupteurs
¥ Batterie lithium d’une durée de vie de 3 ans, fournie
Mise en marche de la communication
Le “Keyfob” doit s’auto-identifier au récepteur/clavier en

transmettant son adresse précodée dans la mémoire du

récepteur/clavier. Chaque «Keyfob» est attribué à une zone

individuelle sans fil.

1. Placer le récepteur/clavier en mode d’écoute.
2. Envoyer un message d’écriture en pressant les deux boutons

pendant au moins 7 secondes.

3. Vérifier que le «Keyfob» a bien été identifié par le

récepteur/clavier.

4. Replacer le récepteur/clavier en mode normal.
Mode opératoire
Pour réaliser un signal de détresse, enfoncer simultanément

les deux boutons de panique. Ceci réduit le risque de fausses

alarmes.
La LED rouge s’illuminera pendant la transmission du signal

Note:  

Afin d’économiser la durée de vie de la batterie, le

système n’enverra le signal de détresse que pendant 7 secondes,

même si les boutons restent enfoncés en permanence.

Protection de la batterie
Un test de la batterie est réalisé à chaque transmission. Si la tension

de la batterie est basse la LED clignotera pendant la transmission,

indiquant ainsi que la batterie doit être remplacée. Un message de

batterie faible sera envoyé au récepteur/clavier programmable.

Au moment du remplacement de la batterie

assurer vous que le modèle est identique. En cas de non

respect de cette procédure des risques sont à prévoir pour

les personnes et le matériel.

Eliminer les batteries suivant les recommendations locales.
Le remplacement de la batterie s’éffectue de la façon suivante:
1. A l’aide d’un tournevis, dévisser le couvercle arrière et

séparer les deux faces du boîtier plastique.

2. Retirer la batterie usagée et insérer la nouvelle, respecter

bien la polarité. Le pole négatif (-) est face au circuit imprimé.

3. Réassembler les faces du boîtier et remonter la vis.
4. Effectuer un test de communication avec récepteur /clavier

afin de vérifier le bon fonctionnement.

Support/clip pour ceinture
1. Pour monter le support de ceinture sur le «Keyfob» presser

le clip, comme indiqué, jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un

clic.

2. Pour le désassembler, utiliser un tournevis pour séparer le

«Keyfob» du clip de ceinture.
