Cleaning the computer —  53

Wipe the display with a clean soft cloth. If you use a mild glass cleaner to clean 
the display, spray a little on the cloth and then wipe the display. Do not spray 
cleaner directly onto the display.

Clean the outside of the computer case with a soft cloth. You can moisten the 
cloth with a non-alkaline detergent. 

Use a vacuum cleaner to clean dust from the keyboard. 

 Before cleaning the computer, turn it off, unplug 

the ac adapter, and then remove the battery.

 Do not wipe the keyboard Intelligent Stickpointer,  

Intelligent Stickpointer buttons, or fingerprint reader with a 
damp cloth.
