Telephone settings

Handset and telephone base settings

Key tone

The telephone base and handset are set to beep with each key
press. You can adjust the key tone volume or turn it off. If you
turn off the key tone, there are no beeps when you press keys.

Using a cordless handset:

Press

MENU

in idle mode to enter the main menu.

Press

CID

or DIR

to highlight

Settings, and then

press

SELECT

Press

CID

or DIR

to highlight

Key tone, and then

press

SELECT

Press

CID

or DIR

select the desired volume or Off.

Press

SET

to confirm.

You hear a confirmation tone and the screen returns

to the previous menu.

Use caller ID to automatically set date and time

If you subscribe to caller ID service, the date and time will be set automatically
by the caller ID information. Follow the steps below to turn the CID time sync
feature on or off. The default setting is On.

Using the telephone base:
