Remote Trunk Release
If your system was installed with the Remote Trunk Release option, you can open your trunk by
pressing the

button until the remote displays the text “TRUNK” on the screen. In addition, this
will also disarm the alarm.
Idle Mode
Convenience feature: Idle Mode allows you to keep the engine running and the doors
locked while you stop, for example, at a convenience store or for a short delivery. (remove

This feature allows you to let the remote starter take over control of the vehicle (i.e. no Key in the
Ignition Switch) while the engine is running.
If your vehicle has an automatic transmission, proceed as follows to set the system to Idle Mode:

Valet Modes
When the vehicle is in Combo Valet and Valet Start, the remote starter is disabled. If the vehicle
needs to be serviced, or if you park it indoors, the Combo Valet and Valet Start will prevent the
engine from being remote-started accidentally.
There are 3 sorts of Valet Modes: Combo Valet, Valet Start and Valet Alarm.

1) To put the system into Combo Valet
