Node to node ping test
A node-to-node ping test signals a meter to ping another meter (whether a REX,
REX2, EA_Repeater or A3 ALPHA meter). The node-to-node ping test requires the
initiator node is a meter registered to a gatekeeper.

An A3 ALPHA gatekeeper cannot initiate or respond to a node-

To perform a node-to-node ping test:
1. From the Ping Test menu, select
Node to Node Ping
.
EA_Inspector displays the Node to Node Ping dialog.

2. Enter the ID of the

(the meter to be pinged).
