c. Download the Metal Detection firmware file
(MetalDetect.hex) into the Metal Detection

3. Start the ADS4 Platform configurator (ver. 4.00).
4. In the Configuration section of the Setup
screen, do the following:
• Set the Configuration to 1-2 Dual
• Set the Configuration to Exit
• Put a check in the Metal Detection box
5. Ensure the AMS-9050 controller has the latest
hex file (version 19052 or later).
6. Ensure the AMC-7000 has the latest Metal
Detection hex file. If it doesn’t, download the
Metal Detection hex file into the AMC-7000.
