The  Personnel  sidebar  window  is  used  to  display  the  list  of  persons  currently  tracked  by  Neon.    The 
Personnel window is automatically populated as location data is transferred from the Neon Tracking unit 
to the Command Software.  Each Personnel entry consists of: 



 

A trail color indicator resembling the person icon, 



 

An error status indicator visible when an error condition occurs, and 



 

The person’s name. 

 

Mouse-over a person’s name to display a pop-up window consisting of the detailed tracking status.  To 
add a person’s detailed status to the Monitor window, select Monitor accessible through the personnel 
right-click drop-down menu. 

Use the Monitor Sidebar window to view detailed information about a person’s status.  By default, the 
monitor status indicators include 



 

Alert – an application specific alert.  For example, the alarm condition  is initiated by a tracked 
person using the Neon Mobile Android application. 



 

Location  –  indicates  whether  enough  and  the  right  type  of  location  sensor  data  has  been 
collected to be able to resolve the person’s location.  When this indicator is in an alarm state, 
the tracked person can check-in at an NFC Check-In Location or move within range of an Anchor 
Node to correct the problem. 



 

Connectivity – indicates whether there is a problem with communications between the person 
being tracked and the Neon Command Software. 



 

Visibility  –  indicates whether the  Command Software  User has chosen to  Hide  this person.  A 
person can be unhidden using the Personnel right-click drop-down menu.
