Please read this user’s guide before

installing, setting up and using your new product

Your boat is not designed for use in oceans, rivers, lakes or streams. Use in a swimming pool, 
pond or small body of water.
 Attach the antenna to your transmitter.
 Slide the boat’s antenna wire through the supplied tube. Then, insert 

the tube into the antenna tube holder.

 Turn your boat and transmitter on.
 Place your boat in the water and use the transmitter’s controls to 

operate it. Your transmitter’s LED lights when you move the controls.

Your transmitter requires one 9V 
alkaline battery (not supplied, 
available at your local RadioShack 
store or online at 
www.radioshack.com).
 Press OPEN and pull 

the battery cover 
downward.

 Insert your 9V battery, 

matching the polarity 
(+ and -) symbols 
marked inside.

 Replace the cover.

When your transmitter’s range decreases, replace 
its battery.

Your boat requires one 9.6V 
rechargeable nickel-metal hydride 
(Ni-MH) battery pack (not supplied, 
available at your local RadioShack 
store or online at 
www.radioshack.com). You must 
charge it before use. Follow the 
manufacturer’s instructions for charging your 
battery pack. 

 Turn your boat off.
 Turn the right and left latches toward the 

OPEN arrow and remove the cover.

 Attach the battery pack’s 

connector to the boat’s 
connector. Do not force 
them; they fi t only one 
way.

 Carefully insert the 

wires into the battery 
compartment and replace the cover.

Do not submerge your transmitter or leave it in water.

Store your boat on the included stand when not in use.
