The nominal –48‑V DC power supplied to the Alcatel-Lucent B25 RRH4x30 shall meet
the requirements specified in this section. The DC power system shall be capable of
providing constant power to the equipment over the entire range of environmental
conditions for the “country of use.”

The DC power system shall be capable of providing constant DC power to the required
equipment configurations at the maximum power level. The typical power level is the DC
power consumption expected while the site is operating with "busy hour" traffic and

DC feeders and connection interface
Each Alcatel-Lucent B25 RRH4x30 requires one DC feed. The DC socket connector
(plug) accepts 8 AWG (max.). Alternate wire gauges may be used for the DC feeders, but
shall be sized to limit the round trip voltage drop between the power system output
terminals and the B25 RRH4x30 input terminals to less than 4 V. A current level equal to
80% of the circuit breaker current rating specified shall be used for this calculation.

(ferrite) is required on the DC power cable. Alcatel-Lucent will provide the ferrite
with the Alcatel-Lucent B25 RRH4x30. It is the responsibility of the installer to install
the required ferrite supplied with the Alcatel-Lucent B25 RRH4x30.
