The power supply to the board from the Bio-Rad instrument must be regulated and meet the specification of voltage 
range and current source output stated above. 

The board provides the I2C pull up resistors required.  The Bio-Rad instrument should adhere strictly to the open-
collector agreed connection format of the I2C protocol.
