Tip: In no service area, Screen Saver, Calendar, Time (Large), or World Clock cannot be shown on the
Standby display.

1. From Standby mode, press MENU/OK to display the main menu.
2. Highlight S e t t i n g s and press MENU/OK.
3. Highlight D i s p l a y and press MENU/OK.
4. Highlight S l e e p M o d e and press MENU/OK.
5. Select the menu under S l e e p M o d e and press MENU/OK.
6. Highlight your desired option, and press MENU/OK.
To deactivate this feature, highlight O f f at the step 6 above

To turn the Location Service On or Off:

2. Highlight S e t t i n g s , and press MENU/OK.
3. Highlight L o c a t i o n , and press MENU/OK.
4. Press MENU/OK or wait a few seconds until the message scrolls down completely.
5. Select O n or O f f , and press MENU/OK.
Note: Even if you set the Location Service to off, the phone sends the information of your
position to the Network while you are in Emergency Mode or making an emergency
call(911).
Tip: These icons let you know whether information of your position is sent to the
network or not. If you are in no service or roaming area, indication is always
