1. 

After  installation  of  map  application  from  the  third  party,  the  built-in  GPS  signal 

receiver  of  the  MID  can  make  accurate  positioning  and  real-time  navigation  of  road 

condition, and finally meet the need of outdoor navigation. 

2.  Access the “Reset” interface and click the icon 

, as shown in Picture 8.1.   

 

 

 

 

After  successful  positioning,  the  blue  area  will  turn  to  green.  More  details,  such  as 

latitude, longitude, height, speed and time, will be displayed, as shown in Picture 8.2. 

Satellite value represents intensity of positioning signal and some relationship between 

positioning  time  and  time  zone  selection  in  setup,  e.g.  in  case  of  any  discrepancy  between 

time and time of positioned location, please check whether the time zone selected is correct.
