Many  countries  require  a  passenger  on  the 
aircraft must turn off the phone . Another way to 
turn  off  the  phone  function  is  to  switch  your 
phone to airplane mode ( offline mode ) . When 
you  enable  Airplane  Mode  ,  it  turns  off  all 
wireless radios on your phone, including mobile 
phones , Bluetooth and WLAN. 
Enable or disable offline mode 
Tap the application icon - > Settings - > Wireless 
& networks. Select "offline mode " check box to 
enable  or  disable  this  mode.  When  enabled,  the 
status bar will show the offline mode icon . Tip: 
When  you  disable  offline  mode  ,  the  phone 
function is turned back , and restore the previous 
state of Bluetooth and WLAN .
