You can protect and encrypt your phone data, such as Google Accounts, application data, music and other media, and downloaded information. If you encrypt
your data, you must enter a numeric PIN or password each time you switch your phone on. If you have already set up a screen lock, you must use the same

Encryption is irreversible. The only way to revert to an unencrypted phone is to perform a factory data reset, which erases all your data.
Before enabling encryption:
