1)
Enter Camera Settings interface.

Press the
/
button to position the cursor on Picture Quality. And click the
button to
enter Picture Quality menu.

Press the

button to select picture quality. And click the
button to save the settings.

Enter live view mode, or you will fail to take pictures.

Press the
button at the right side of device to take a picture of current live view image.
The picture is saved in device memory in .jpg format and named by taking picture date and time.
You can play back the picture in playback menu or download and save it in computer local path. For
detailed steps of downloading pictures, you can refer to 7.7 Assistant File Saving Path.
3.4 Record and Capture
Purpose:
You can record the videos in crime scenes or other situations. And during the recording, you can capture.
Steps:
1.
Enter live view mode.
2.
Press the
button to start recording. Then the
icon in live view turns to the
icon and
the LED (4) starts flashing in red once per second.
3.
Optionally, during the recording process, you can press the
button to capture current live view image.
4.
Press the recording button again to stop recording. Then the
icon turns to the
icon
The video is saved in device meory in .mp4 format and named by recording starting time.
The picture is saved in memory in .jpg format and is named by capturing date and time.
The captured picture’s resolution is the same as video resolution.
You can play back the video and picture in playback menu or download and save it in computer local path.

3.5 Taping
Purpose:
You can tape audios in crime scenes or other situations.
Steps:
1.
Enter live view mode.
2.
Press the
button to start taping. Then the
icon pops up in live view interface.
3.
Press the
button again to stop taping. Then the
icon disappears.
The audio file is saved in device memory in .AAC format and named by taping starting time.
