Prior to first use
To avoid damage to the rechargeable battery,It is only half-charged when supplied.Before using for
the first time charge the battery until the red indicator light goes out.
Charging the battery
You can charge the speaker’s rechargeable battery using a computer. We have enclosed a USB
charging cable for this purpose.
1. Make sure that the speaker is switched off.
2. Open the protective cover.
3. Connect the speaker to a computer.
The indicator light lights up red. The usual charging time for a flat battery is approx. 2 hours. Once
the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the indicator light will go out.

The playback time(depending on volume, environmental conditions etc.) is approx. 8 hours. You
can use the speaker while it is charging. However, this will increase the charging time.

• The rechargeable battery needs charging when the indicator light flashes red.
• To preserve the rechargeable battery’s full capacity for as long as possible, you should recharge
the
battery every 2 months, even if you do not use the speaker.
• Charge the battery in an environment between +10 and +40℃
• The battery will best hold its charge at room temperature.
• The lower the temperature, the shorter the battery life.
Automatic switch-off function
To avoid unnecessary power usage, the speaker has an automatic switch-off function that turns the
speaker off if it has not received a Bluetooth signal for 10 minutes or if no music is played on the
mobile device for more than 30 minutes, even when there is a Bluetooth connection.

If a playback device is connected via AUX IN, the device will not switch off automatically.
Connecting to a Bluetooth

• You may be required to enter a password. If so, enter 0000.

1. Switch on your mobile device.

3. Start the device scan on your mobile device.
4. Turn on the Bluetooth speaker. Press and hold the on/off button to do so. Two short beeps will
sound and the indicator light will flash blue quickly. The speaker will now search for available
Bluetooth connections.

5. On your mobile device, select HRSP 589G(grey color)/ HRSP 589BU (blue color) / HRSP
589T(Teal color) from the list and connect the devices. Once the devices are connected, a short
beep will sound and the indicator light flashes blue slowly.

device again once it is switched back on, provided that the device is close by, switched on and the

The speaker can play back music in all standard file formats supported by your playback device.
The speaker also supports the new A2DP transmission standard. This standard, which is spported
by most current smartphones, has been specially developed for the wireless transmission of stereo
audio signals via Bluetooth.

AUX IN : Playing music
You can connect mobile playback devices that do not have a Bluetooth fun ction directly to the
speaker using the audio cable supplied.
