Recommended Calibers 
 

Pistol – calibers with power greater than .22 

 

Rifles – the Pacifica model is designed for pistol calibers  
Rifles will significantly decrease system’s life

Standard AR500 steel shooting rules apply – do not shoot rifle 
at steel closer than 150 yards and pistol closer than 15 yards 
Shooting at closer distances will reduce the longevity of the 
AR500 target plate, related components, and will increase risk 
of injury/death from ricochet and bullet fragmentation 

 

Magnum should be used at distances greater than 25 yards 


