NOTE: The components of a storage subsystem (e.g. the drive, the HBA/controller, and
the server backplane) should operate at the same data transfer rate or the system
bandwidth will be negotiated down to an acceptable level for all components.
NOTE: Transfer rates of drives are dependent on the maximum transfer rate supported
by the HBA or Controller. Refer to the HBA or Controller technical specifications for
details.
NOTE: Mixing SAS and SATA hard drives is allowed. However, only SAS hard drives will
be used for RAID setting.
NOTE: Hard drives have either a one year or three year warranty; refer to the specific
hard drive QuickSpecs for details.
NOTE: HP Smart Array B110i does not support greater than 2TB hard drive.
