This Wireless Dual-band USB Adapter can transmit wireless signals via the 2.4 GHz frequency and the less congested 5 GHz frequency. The 

less congested 5 GHz band is ideal for heavy applications, such as streaming HD films, downloading, gaming and VoIP.
