USB keyboard with built-in smart card and Spanish eID card reader. It has been designed especially for use in 

the fields of electronic signature, identification and authentication. It is compatible with the Spanish eID card 
and with the most commonly-used smart cards on the market. 

It incorporates a long-life card counter that allows more than 150,000 card insertions, as well as a 

microprocessor with ample memory capacity, which can be used to expand the device's functionality. 

The KBR36 keyboard has three keys, X1, X2 and X3, that come preconfigured to allow quick access to the public 
data of the Spanish eID card. When pressing any of these keys (with a Spanish eID card inserted into the smart 

card reader), the following data are written automatically, wherever the cursor is positioned: 

X1: name and surname
X2: Spanish tax identification number

X3: IDESP (abbreviation for Spanish Identity; smart card serial number)

An easy-to-install device (Plug and Play) with firmware that can be updated by users from C3PO S.A.'s Website 
(www.c3po.es) thus ensuring users always have the latest version.
