Acer Altos Array G540 SAS controller SO.SA000.A00 Fascicule

The first thing to do is to check the position of the jumper JP3. It must 
be short pins 2-3, as shown in the picture below. 

 

Plug the card into the horizontal white connector, close to the 
Green PCI-X slot and then secure it to the mainboard with a 
screw.

Plug the first SAS Cage cable into the bottom 
connector.  

Please download the latest firmware and bios 
from the Acer support website and upgrade 
the card.
