The FNS-5000B is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device that has 2 bays
for SATA Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) providing the ability to store up to 2TB
(Terra Byte) of data from a network through its Gigabit port. It has an
embedded remote replication feature to enhance data backup as well as
an advanced HDD crash warning feature.

Multiple Servers packed in 1 product
The FNS-5000B provides several important servers on one platform making it
an important product that provides adequate technology to support any
network need.
It incorporates a Web Server that enables users to publish html files on the
Internet making it possible to have Website without the need to set up a
dedicated Web Server.
An USB port makes it possible for printers to be shared on the same network
by connecting them directly to the FNS-5000B.
The File Server and FTP Server allow for centralized data management. All
files can be stored and accessed on the FNS-5000B via the network or
through the Internet.
This makes it possible to view, download and upload large files quick and
easy through the Gigabit port. To set-up and use the File and FTP Server can
be done without the help of the MIS team.
Users can set-up a back-up schedule on the FNS-5000B to enable
scheduled back-up of data from network PCs. The Backup Server also
supports Block Level replication to provide reliable, instant and secure
remote data backup.
The NAS also allows for remote duplication on other storage devices. Since
it is equipped with a Gigabit port, high-speed Internet access to the remote
location is possible.
Friendly User-Interface
The FNS-5000B makes use of a user-friendly Web Interface to allow users to
manage the data on the hard drives.
Users can view, download and upload files, print files, watch video clips and
photo slide shows by using the embedded Web Interface.
