The iron's 200 g steam boost enables you to 
easily remove even the most stubborn creases.

T-ionicGlide is Philip's most premium 
soleplate. Delivering a new standard in glide 
and scratch resistance for OptimalTemp irons. 
The patented new coating will secure excellent 
results. The carefully designed shape and vent 
holes provide an even steam distribution for 
easy crease removal with the steam iron.

Regularly cleaning calc from the iron results in 
longer-lasting steam iron performance and 
better ironing results. Our Quick Calc Release 
makes regular cleaning of loose calc in the 
steam iron as easy as emptying the water after 
each ironing session. The very efficient Self-
Clean function will do the rest.

In addition to the Quick Calc Release, a more 
thorough clean of your soleplate will remove 
the most stubborn calc. A clean soleplate will 
improve your steam performance and ironing 
results.

The steam iron shuts off automatically when 

left unattended. It will switch off after 

8 minutes when left standing on its heel rest 

and after 30 seconds when left resting on its 

soleplate or sides.
