The IP alarm module offers an intelligent and innovative logical connection between alarm technology and IP
video surveillance, thus giving added extra value for security. The areas of application for the IP alarm module
are very comprehensive, and may vary according to the system connection: Zone expansion in Secvest IP: Using
the module, the Secvest IP can be expanded by two additional zones of four detectors (i.e. eight detectors in
total). All Secvest 2WAY detectors can be integrated in this way. PIR network camera: The integration of wireless
remote controls, wireless detectors, and wireless sirens means that the PIR network camera can be expanded
into an intelligent IP alarm system. The PIR network camera is activated using the wireless remote control. As
soon as this camera registers an alarm and the recording is started, an e-mail is sent with images attached. The
alarm can also be activated simultaneously via the IP alarm system using wireless sirens. Video activation: When
used with a recording device, NAS, HDR, HDVR, or NVR, the IP alarm module allows the expansion of existing
wired inputs and outputs at the recording devices by two further inputs and two further outputs. These are
integrated into the corresponding recording device over the local network. The IP alarm module thus allows
recorder activation or alarm recording when used in combination with Secvest wireless components and the
recorder programming. In the event of an alarm, the module can trigger further reactions using the wireless
siren and wireless power socket.
