Extech CL200 Waterproof Total Residual Chlorine Tester CL200 Fascicule

If it is necessary to adjust the chlorine reading to match the value of a known standard or to agree with the reading from another chlorine meter, the 
following procedure can be used. 

1.  Using a chlorine solution of known concentration perform the normal sampling procedure (refer to the operator’s manual) with 20 ml of the 

solution, wait for the display to read “HOLD” (approx. 2 minute sampling time). 

2.  With meter still in the solution press the Mode/Hold button for approximately 5 seconds until “CO” appears at the bottom of the Display. 

3.  The concentration value on the Display can now be adjusted up or down to match the actual known concentration of the solution.   

4.  Press the MODE/HOLD key to increase the value or Press the CAL/RECALL button to decrease the value. 

5.  Once the reading is adjusted to the desired value do a quick press of the ON/OFF button and “SA” will appear on the Display followed by “END”. 

This indicates that the adjusted value was saved to memory. 

6.  Turn the meter off and proceed with the sampling procedure as described in the operator’s manual. 

 

 

 

Il est parfois nécessaire d’ajuster la lecture du taux de chlorure afin que  celle-ci corresponde à un standard ou à un autre pH-mètre. Si tel est le cas, 
vous pouvez procédez comme suit. 
1.  Effectuez la procédure d’échantillonnage habituelle : utilisez 20ml d’une solution de chlorure de concentration connue (référez-vous au guide 

d’utilisation pour connaitre la marche à suivre) et attendez que l’Ecran affiche l’inscription “HOLD”. (le temps d’échantillonnage est d’environ 2 
minutes). 

2.  Tout en maintenant la sonde de l’appareil dans la solution, appuyez sur la touche Mode/Hold pendant 5 secondes environ, jusqu’à ce que 

l’inscription “CO” apparaisse au bas de l’Ecran. 

3.  La concentration affichée à l’Ecran peut à présent être ajustée (augmentée ou diminuée) afin de correspondre à la concentration de la solution. 
4.  Appuyez sur la touche MODE/HOLD pour augmenter la valeur ou appuyez sur la touche CAL/RECALL pour diminuer la valeur. 
5.  Une fois que la concentration a été réglée sur la valeur souhaitée, appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF : l’inscription “SA” apparaitra alors à l’Ecran 

suivie de l’inscription “END”. Ceci indique que la valeur ajustée a été sauvegardée dans la mémoire de l’appareil. 

6.  Eteignez l’appareil et effectuez la procédure d’échantillonnage comme indiqué dans le guide d’utilisation. 

 
 
 
 

Wenn die Messung mit dem Chlormessgerät kalibriert werden muss, damit sie mit einer bekannten Norm oder mit der Messung eines anderen 
Chlormessgerätes übereinstimmt, so kann die folgende Prozedur durchgeführt werden. 
1.  Führen Sie ein normales Probennahmeverfahren mit 20 ml einer Chlorlösung mit bekannter Konzentration durch (beachten Sie die 

Bedienungsanleitung des Gerätes) und warten Sie, bis das Display „HOLD“ anzeigt (durchschnittlich 2 Minuten). 

2.  Während sich das Gerät noch in der Lösung befindet, drücken Sie die Taste Mode/Hold etwa 5 Sekunden lang, bis „CO“ im unteren Teil des 

Displays erscheint. 

3.  Der im Display angezeigte Konzentrationswert kann nun nach oben oder unten auf die bekannte Konzentration der Lösung eingestellt werden. 
4.  Drücken Sie die Taste MODE/HOLD, um den Wert zu erhöhen oder die Taste CAL/RECALL, um den Wert zu senken. 
5.  Wenn die Messung auf den gewünschten Wert eingestellt ist, drücken Sie kurz die Taste ON/OFF und „SA“ erscheint im Display, gefolgt von 

„END“. Dadurch wird angezeigt, dass der eingestellte Wert gespeichert wurde. 

6.  Schalten Sie das Messgerät aus und führen Sie die weiteren Messungen wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben durch. 

 
 
 
 

Als het nodig is de chloormeting af te stemmen op de waarde van een bekende standaard, of overeen te komen met een andere chloormeter, kan de 
volgende procedure gebruikt worden. 
1.  Voer de normale meetprocedure uit met 20 ml van een chlooroplossing waarvan de concentratie bekend is (raadpleeg de gebruiksaanwijzing), en 

wacht totdat de aanduiding “HOLD” op het scherm verschijnt (ca. 2 minuten meettijd). 

2.  Druk terwijl de meter nog in de oplossing zit ca. 5 seconden lang op de Mode/Hold-toets, totdat de aanduiding “CO” onderaan het scherm 

verschijnt. 

3.  De concentratiewaarde op het scherm kan nu verhoogd of verlaagd worden, zodat de waarde overeenkomt met de concentratie van de oplossing 

zoals bekend. 

4.  Druk op de MODE/HOLD-toets om de waarde te verhogen of druk op de CAL/RECALL-toets om de waarde te verlagen. 
5.  Wanneer de uitlezing aangepast is tot de gewenste waarde drukt u kort op de ON/OFF-toets. De aanduiding “SA” verschijnt op het scherm, 

gevolgd door “END”. Dit geeft aan dat de aangepaste waarde in het geheugen is opgeslagen. 

6.  Schakel de meter uit en vervolg de meetprocedure zoals beschreven in de gebruiksaanwijzing.
