We do not assume liability for resulting damages to property or personal injury
if the product has been abused in any way or damaged by improper use or
failure to observe these operating instructions. The warranty/ guarantee will
then expire!
The  icon  with  exclamation  mark  indicates  important  information  in  the
operating instructions. Carefully read the whole operating instructions before
operating the device, otherwise there is risk of danger.
Do not cover the device (e.g. with a curtain, blanket, etc.) to avoid overheating
of the device.
Persons / Product
Never use the device without a protective grill. Do not put any objects through the safety
guard.
Make  sure  the  appliance  is  located  far  enough  away  from  all  objects  in  order  to  ensure
adequate air circulation.
Do not use the device in close proximity to a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.
Do not position the device right underneath a mains outlet.
Do not operate the device in conjunction with a separate timer, a separate remote control
system or other equipment which could turn the device on automatically. This would constitute
a fire hazard if the device were covered or otherwise positioned incorrectly.
The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. Be especially careful
if children are around. Children cannot assess the danger from incorrect use of electrical
devices.  Children  could  try  to  insert  items  into  the  device,  risking  a  fatal  electric  shock.
Furthermore, the hot surfaces may induce injury or fire. Install the product so that it cannot be
reached by children.
Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since it constitutes a danger to
children.
Only a electrical source of 230V~/50Hz mains outlet with a protective conductor (wall socket)
should be used. Never try to operate the device with another voltage.
The product is only designed for use in closed, dry indoors locations. It must not get damp or
wet, as it may cause danger of electric shock.
Never touch the product with damp or wet hands.
Never use the heater in any vehicles or other areas or places in motion.
Insert or remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the cord .
Unwind the mains cable completely. If the mains cable is not completely unwound, it can
cause overheating, leading to a fire hazard.
The power cable must not be pinched or damaged by sharp edges. Do not place any objects
on the mains cable. Do not allow it to become entangled.
Install the mains cable so that it will not be tripped over. Make sure that the mains plug is easily
accessible.
Do not cover the mains cable under carpets, etc.
Do not use extension cables, ballast, dimmer etc. Insert the mains plug directly into a wall
socket.
Do not use the product when it is damaged (e.g. housing, mains cable). A defective connecting
cable must be replaced only by a specialist. Improper replacement may cause a fatal electric
shock.
For safety reasons, pull the mains plug out of the mains socket before cleaning the device,
during a thunderstorm or when the device will not be used for a longer period of time.
Always leave a space of at least 1.5 m from combustible or flammable materials or items
(curtains, doors, furniture etc.). If the distance is too short, there is a risk of fire.
Do not cover the unit.  Do not touch the openings of the product. Do not insert objects in the
openings. This may lead to a fatal electric shock or fire hazards
Never pour liquids onto or next to the product. You risk a fire hazard or a fatal electric shock.
However,  if  liquids  get  into  the  device,  immediately  isolate  the  mains  socket  (fuse),  then
separate the mains plug from the mains socket and consult an expert. Do not operate the
device anymore.
It is not permitted to operate the device in environments with a high dust content, flammable
gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fire and explosion.
Never place the product on an unstable or moving surface. Always set up the heater so that
it cannot tilt or fall. Tilting/falling can cause a fire hazard causing injury or product damage.
The safety switch integrated at the base of the device deactivates in this situation, but there
remains a risk of fire caused by the hot surfaces of the heater.
Do not operate the product when it is unattended.
The air outlet will become very hot within a short period, causing a danger of being burnt. Take
the necessary care in using the heater.
When using the heater for the first time, the heated casing may give off an irritating odour for
some time. If you experience this, ventilate the room where the heater is operating.
Only move, transport or store the product when it has cooled down completely. Disconnect the
mains unit from the mains voltage and pull the plug out of the power socket.
Only use the device in a temperate climate, not a tropical climate.
Never  connect  the  product  directly  after  transferring  it  from  a  cold  to  a  warm  room.  The
condensation water that develops after such a transfer could damage the device or cause
an electric shock. Allow the appliance to reach room temperature. Wait until the condensation
water has evaporated. This might take several hours. Only after this should it be plugged in to
the mains supply and put into use.
The product is not suitable for commercial use.
The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration,
or dampness.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device is to be put out
of operation and secured against unintended operation. Safe operation is no longer possible
if the device:
shows visible damages,
 -
no longer works,
 -
was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
 -
was subject to considerable transport stress
 -
Miscellaneous
Servicing,  adjustment  or  repair  works  must  only  be  carried  out  by  a  specialist/  specialist
