10kVA Tower UPS for Critical Network Protection

With its compact footprint and best-in-class features, the Liebert GXT2

10kVA Tower from Emerson Network Power is the ideal solution for the

power protection of Small Server Rooms, Network Closet Applications,

and other space constrained areas where sensitive electronic equipment

requires a clean continuous power supply.

A double conversion UPS, compliant with the level “VFI SS 111” of perfor-

mance, the Liebert GXT2 10 kVA tower is available with or without

Isolation Transformer. With its easy to use LCD display, its very high efficiency

and very low noise level, it is ideally suited for use in an office environment.

Its characteristics make the GXT2 10kVA tower a unique UPS in its range,

with very high-level performances. It can be fed by a single-phase or

three phase mains supply*, it is parallelable up to three units* and it fea-

tures a Power Factor Controlled input for high input power factor and low

rejected harmonics upstream, and extended battery cabinets for longer

runtimes, up to 2 hours.

It features an internal Surge Suppression circuit (TVSS), an optional –

additional - battery charger*, and a manually operated maintenance

bypass circuit which completely isolates the UPS electronics. The unit’s

controls are managed by a Digital Signal Processor for improved reliabi-

lity. One of the highlights of this unit is its extremely wide input voltage

tolerance window (176V-276V). This ensures a longer battery lifetime, and

longer runtimes when really needed, even in bad input mains conditions.

The isolated unit is fitted with an Output Isolation multi-tap Transformer,

which allows using the UPS at 110, 120 phase to neutral or 208, 220 phase to

phase voltage – for dual phase input, with phases shifted by 180 degrees.
