When your S4 is in MIDI Mode, the two Loop Displays will show 'ON'.

TRAKTOR mode and MIDI mode may be used simultaneously, for example you can control
TRAKTOR in TRAKTOR mode, then hold SHIFT and press BROWSE to switch to MIDI

mode to control other software or hardware over MIDI.
