these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting dam-

The exclamation mark symbol indicates  that important information is included
in these operating instructions.
The arrow symbol indicates tips and notes.
•  A TV corner bracket is not a toy. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
•   Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dangerous play-
thing for children.
•  Selecting an unsuitable installation location can lead to personal or material damage.
•   Proceed with care when assembling and installing the product. The product may have sharp
edges. There is a risk of injury!
•   Carry out only the work on the TV corner bracket that is necessary in order to install it (or to
adjust it). Never perform any conversion or repair work.
•   Before beginning the installation process, check whether there are appropriate mounting op-
tions for a TV corner bracket on the back of your TV set.
•   Depending on the size and design of the TV set and TV corner bracket concerned, it is sensi-
ble for a second person to help with the installation. This person can hold the TV set still, for
example, while you are attaching the TV set to the corner bracket.
•   Apply your full concentration when carrying out the installation, because if the TV set and/or
TV corner bracket were to fall, this could cause expensive damage to the equipment and there
is the potential danger of personal injury!
•   Lay all the TV set’s cables in such a way that they do not get jammed or kinked in the corner
mount bracket.
•   Check all the screw fi ttings from time to time. Adjusting the position of the TV set and/or the
corner bracket and moving them can sometimes cause the screws to become loose over time.
•   Do not apply force when moving/adjusting the TV set or the corner bracket. The TV set may
be damaged by it.
•  When moving/adjusting, do not press on the TV set’s screen.
•   Do not overload the TV corner bracket. Pay attention to the details provided by the manufac-
turer for the maximum TV set weight and/or its size.
•  Do not use the TV corner bracket to support yourself or to hold onto.
•  Do not fi x any objects to the TV corner bracket other than the TV set for which it was intended.
•   In case of doubt, do not perform the installation yourself. Have an expert carry out the instal-
lation.
Installation
Wall-mounting is permissible only where the wall concerned is of the correct
type and condition. Thin lightweight partition walls or those made from gyp-
sum boards with unstable substructures are normally unsuitable. However,
specialist retailers do sometimes stock special dowel fi ttings for such installa-
tion locations. If you are in doubt, ask a specialist before installation.

Depending on the base wall material (e.g. concrete), suitable mounting materi-
als must be used (screws, dowels, etc.). The dowel screws enclosed are only
suitable for solid walls. Special dowels and screws are not normally supplied
with the TV corner bracket and they must be bought separately, depending on
the type and condition of the wall concerned.

Due to the weight of the TV set, TV corner bracket and the lever action involved,
ensure that the screws are fi xed securely.

Plan the installation location carefully, so that the TV corner bracket with the TV
set fi xed to it will be situated at the correct location (height and position) when
you have fi nished the installation.

Pay attention when drilling and tightening the screws that no cable or pipes in
the wall are damaged. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables causes the
life-threatening danger of an electric shock!

Pay special attention to your safety when using electric tools (e.g. a drill). You
should also heed the safety instructions in the corresponding instructions.

Make sure no persons are in the area under the TV corner bracket and/or the TV
set during the installation.
Please refer to the illustrations in the installation instructions enclosed.
Preparation of the TV set
•   It is usually necessary to remove the TV set’s base before mounting it on a wall holder. Ob-
serve the operating instructions for your TV set.
•   Put the TV set fl at on a soft and clean underlay, the display side facing downwards. Do not
apply pressure on the display. Protect valuable furniture surfaces during installation by using
a suitable underlay.
•  Remove the existing base. Depending on the TV set, this base is either screwed tight or
clipped on.
Ill. 1:
•   Select the position and the height of the corner bracket at the mounting location.
•  Align the TV corner bracket horizontally using the integrated water level.
•   Mark the necessary drilling holes for the two mounting plates at the mounting site. To this end,
use the corner bracket as a template.
•   Drill the required holes and insert suitable dowels in the boreholes (W-B or special dowels).
•   Screw down the corner bracket using all six screws (W-A or screws from the specialist shop
suitable for the mounting surface) and washers (W-C) as shown in the illustration.
Ill. 2:
When fi xing the mounting brackets to the TV set, make absolutely certain that
you use the correct screws. Not only must these be of the correct thread type
for the TV set, but they must also not be too long; otherwise they will damage
the TV set.

The screws must not be too short, however, since otherwise the connection
will not be secure. The screws must be screwed into the threaded fi xture holes
on the TV set with at least 5 full 360° turns.

Should the screw length of the screws in the mounting screw set provided
not be suitable for your TV set, please acquire suitable screws at your local
hardware store.

If you have any doubt about the correct length of the screws required, we rec-
ommend that you contact the TV manufacturer or an appropriate specialist.
•   Attach the mounting brackets to the rear of your TV set (illustration 2-1) using suitable screws
and washers from the mounting screw set (M).
•   If the back of your TV set is curved or if you want to install the TV set at a greater distance from
the wall, you can use the spacers enclosed (M-G or M-H) between the mounting brackets and
the back of the TV (illustration 2-2).
•   During the installation, keep in mind that the bracket hooks of the mounting bracket must face
towards the TV’s lower edge.
•   Do not use any force when tightening the screws; otherwise the TV set may be destroyed,
leading to loss of warranty/guarantee!
