FIRST TIME OF USE
   
(See appendix A on page 5)
1.  Remove product from box and remove packaging materials.
2.  Select a firm, level location at least 15 cm from any walls for 
proper airflow. Place the humidifier on a water resistant surface.  
Fill the tank with water. Screw tank cap back on.
3.  Red light will illuminate and unit will automatically shut off, 
when water tank is empty.
4.  Product has 2 power settings: 
 High 
(   ): Everyday use
 
Low  (   ): Night time sleep mode
RESET INSTRUCTIONS
The reset illuminates red and indicates that the tank is empty and 
water needs to be refilled.
1.   Turn the unit off and unplug the unit
2.   Allow the humidifier to cool down for at least 15 minutes.
3.   Fill the water tank as described under First time use.
4.   The reset light should go off and you can plug in the unit and 
begin using again.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS - WEEKLY 
CLEANING INVOLVES TWO STEPS, SCALE REMOVAL AND 
DISINFECTING. BE SURE TO PERFORM THESE IN THE PROPER 
ORDER TO AVOID HARMFUL CHEMICAL INTERACTIONS.
SCALE REMOVAL   
(See appendix B on page 6)
1.  Wipe base and tank with undiluted vinegar
2. Rinse 
thoroughly
DISINFECTING   
(See appendix C on page 7)
1.  Fill water tank with 1 tea spoon of bleach and 3.4 liters of 
cool water
2.  Wipe base with same solution
3.  Wait 20 minutes and then rinse thoroughly until smell of 
bleach is gone.
STORAGE
Do not store the humidifier with a filled tank. Store in a cool dry 
place.
DISPOSAL
Please do not dispose of this product in the household 
waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place 
at your local retailer or at appropriate collection points 
provided.
This regulation is valid only in EU member states.

instructions. The purchaser or user must himself or herself decide 
when and for how long this Kaz product is in use.

 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read through all the instructions before starting to use the 
appliance. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
1.  This appliance must only be operated as instructed in this user 
manual.
2.  This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including 
children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, 
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been 
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the 
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children 
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the 
appliance.
3.  This appliance is only designed for indoor use. Do not place it in 
direct sunlight, high-temperature areas or near computers or 
sensitive electronic equipment. Keep the appliance away from 
heat sources such as stoves, heaters, etc.
4.  Place the appliance on a firm, even, non-metallic and waterproof 
surface. This humidifier may not work properly on an uneven 
surface. 
5.  Kaz will not accept responsibility for property damage caused by 
water spillage.
6.  Only connect the appliance to a single-phase AC supply to the 
voltage shown on the rating plate.
7.  Do not use an extension cord or a solid-state speed-control 
device. Doing so could cause overheating, fire hazard or electric 
shock.
8.  Do not cover the mist outlet or put anything on it while the 
humidifier is running.
9.  If surplus humidity forms condensation on walls and windows in 
closed or small rooms, turn the power switch to the lower setting 
and open the door to the room.
10.  Do not touch the hot steam. Steam can cause burns.
11.  If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the 
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in 
order to avoid a hazard.
12.  Do not use this appliance if it is damaged or shows any signs of 
possible damage or if it is not functioning properly. Disconnect 
the power plug from the power socket.
13.  This humidifier requires regular cleaning. Refer to the cleaning 
instructions. 
14.  Turn the humidifier OFF if you notice moisture on the inside of 
your windows. For proper humidity reading use a hygrometer, 
which is available in many hardware and department stores.
15.  Never use the device with wet hands.
16.  Never pull the cord, always pull the plug.
17.  Always ensure that device is on a level surface.
18.  Always ensure that the cable is fully unravelled and has no knots 
in it.
