Exterior mirrors
For the safety of pedestrians, the exterior
mirrors will swing out of their normal
mounting position if they are bumped with
sufficient force. Reposition the mirror by
applying slight pressure to the mirror
housing.
Aspherical exterior mirror

Increases the field of view. Estimating the
distance away of vehicles following you is
only possible to a limited extent because of
slight distortion.
Head restraints
Adjust the head restraints to suit the
occupant’s size 3 - see page 64.

In the event of a rear-end impact, the
active head restraints automatically
tilt forward a little. The head is more
effectively supported by the head restraint
and the danger of injuries caused by
whiplash in the neck area is reduced.
