Removal and Replacement Procedures

Maintenance and Service Guide

Perform the following steps before disassembling the notebook:

1. Turn off the notebook.

2. Undock the notebook and Mobile Expansion Unit (MEU) 

from the docking base, if applicable.

3. Disconnect the notebook from the MEU, if applicable.

4. Disconnect the AC adapter and external devices.

5. Remove the primary battery pack by following these steps:

Turn the notebook bottom side up with the front facing 
forward.
