AMASS assumes a compressed capacity of 2:1 ratio, but some 
newer drives may have a compressed capacity of 3:1. 
Consequently, the capacity displayed by the 

vollist

 command 

after a 

volformat

 will currently show a 2:1 native GB capacity.
