Certain 325i models are certified to
California’s stringent Super Ultra Low
Emission Vehicle (SULEV) standards and
also qualify as a Partial Zero Emission
Vehicle (PZEV) under the California Air
Resources Board Zero Emission Vehicle
program. In addition to very low tailpipe and
zero-evaporative emissions, this PZEV
certification includes a unique warranty
when the vehicle is registered in California
and certain Northeastern states as indicated
elsewhere in this booklet.

The emission certification standard can be
verified on the Vehicle Emission Control
Information label located in the engine
compartment. A representative label is
shown below, with the SULEV (PZEV)
certification indicated by the arrow.
