6.  If you like, fine-tune the permissions for video content by selecting and unselecting the icons for movie and TV 
ratings. Movie ratings include G, PG, and PG-13. TV ratings including TV-G, TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-PG, and TV-14. 
Your NOOK automatically selects ratings based on the child’s age, but you can edit these selections as you like.
7.  Tap Continue
Your NOOK displays a list of possible interests for the profile.
8.  Select the interests relevant for your child. Tap Next
Your NOOK displays sample content based on the interests you selected.
9.  Tap on the items you would like to add to the profile’s Library. Tap Next
Your NOOK finishes creating the profile. Your NOOK displays the Home screen for the profile.
Editing a NOOK Profile
The primary profile can edit other adult profiles and child profiles. An adult profile can only edit its own profile. A 
child profile cannot edit other profiles.
To edit a profile, do this:
1.  In the upper left corner of the Home Screen, tap the icon for the profile currently being displayed. 
A window opens displaying the profiles that have been created on your NOOK. If you do not see the profile you 
are looking for, scroll the panel from right to left to display additional profiles.
2.  Tap the Edit Profile button. 
The icons of editable profiles change to show that they are editable.
3.  Tap the profile you want to edit. 
Tapping an adult profile opens a pop-up menu listing four choices:
•  Change interests
•  Change image
•  Manage content
•  Remove this profile
Tapping a child profile opens a pop-up menu listing five choices:
•  Change interests
•  Change image
•  Change parental controls
•  Manage content
•  Remove this profile
4.  Tap the menu choice for the change you want to make.
•  Tap Change interests to change the interests and channels associated with the profile you are editing.
•  Tap Change image to change the icon or thumbnail image that represents the profile on the Home 
Screen and the screensaver.
