RECAUTIONS
 
•  Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs and hot pads or oven mitts. 
•  Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or 
other hot liquids. 
•  Do not use temperature setting above 200°F (95°C) for buffet server or warming 
applications. 
•  Do not place plastic cooking or serving containers or utensils directly on heating 
surface as melting of plastic could occur.

BEFORE USING THE FIRST TIME: 
 
1.  Wash griddle, grease cup, food pans and clear cover(s) in warm soapy water 
with a dishcloth or sponge to remove any manufacturing oils.  Rinse thoroughly 
and dry.  Be sure temperature control socket is removed and socket is 
completely dried.  Slide grease cup securely in place below drain hole on griddle 
surface.  It is recommended that the grease cup be used with any cooking 
application to help contain possible overflows or spills.
