The MT-BU5 external brake units can be
used with frequency inverter models
FR-F740-01800 and above. These inverters
are fitted with a connector via which the
MT-BU5 brake unit is controlled directly.
This connection also makes it possible for
the FR-F740 to handle the protection of
the MT-BU5 against thermal overloads.
