Video and Audio signals are delicate. Delicate signals are susceptible to distortion from ground loops.
Ground loops are caused by voltage differences, which can range from a few millionths of a volt up to
several tens of volts, between the ground point on your equipment and the grounding of your electrical
service. If you have multiple A/V components powered from different outlets or even different circuit
breakers then your system may not be operating at its maximum potential! Get isolated!
