If a customer's Maintenance expires and FileMaker announces the availability of an upgrade, the customer is no 
longer eligible for the Expired Maintenance price. The customer must purchase the product upgrade or (if they 
don't qualify for the upgrade version) new licenses.
When additional years of Maintenance are added to extend the expiration date of a line item on the same order, 
the seats extending the Maintenance expiration date do not count toward tier levels, minimum initial order quantity, 
or product discount levels.
When Maintenance is renewed for existing seats and new seats are ordered at the same time, these renewal 
seats AND new the seats do count toward tier levels, minimum initial order quantity, or product discount levels.
Customers ordering Maintenance Renewal for existing licenses and New licenses (which include Maintenance) at 
the same time, must submit two separate orders if the Maintenance renewal date for the existing licenses is not in 
the same billing quarter as the New licenses.
Customers who wish to renew Maintenance on multiple seats with multiple end dates must submit separate orders 
if the renewal dates are not in the same billing quarter.
VLA for Non-Profit - 501(c) (3)
Non-Profit discount pricing is available on FileMaker Pro ONLY for customers who can provide the reseller with 
proof of 501(c)(3) non profit status. (Resellers file the paperwork for audit purposes.) There is a single tier price 
point for FileMaker Pro New, Upgrade, and FileMaker Pro Maintenance.  All other FileMaker products can be 
purchased from the Corp/Gov VLA tab.  
Minimum initial purchase is 5 units; no minimum on re-orders. Re-orders use the same sku as a new order. The 
current VLA number must accompany a re-order if it is less than 5 seats. Non-Profit customers seeking large 
quantities of FileMaker Pro may find better discounts using the standard VLA corporate tier pricing.
Annual Volume License agreement (AVLA), Education Annual Volume License Agreement (EDU AVLA)
This is a contractual program where the customer signs an annual usage agreement.  The annual fee is 1/3 rd the 
cost of a standard VLA/EVLA.   The AVLA/EDU AVLA also includes free software upgrades during the contract 
period.
The minimum initial purchase requirement is 5 units; customers can mix & match products to reach the minimum.  
Customers can add additional seats at anytime during the period of the agreement with no minimums.  
Customers do not own the licenses, so at the end of the year the AVLA/EDU AVLA customer can choose to renew 
the annual agreement for another year, purchase the software or de-install the software.

Media and Documentation for Volume Licensing
Customers can purchase physical media for an additional fee; the skus are listed on the Media/Tech Support tab.  
The number of media sets ordered cannot exceed the number of seats for which you are licensed.  These 
additional media sets do not count towards determining tier levels.

Licensing customers can downgrade FileMaker 10 licenses to versions 9, 8.5 & 8.  Customers can purchase 
physical media for $20 SLP each; the skus are listed on the Media/Tech Support tab.  The number of media sets 
ordered cannot exceed the number of seats for which you are licensed. 
Customers purchasing FileMaker 10 shrink wrap product who wish to downgrade must contact FileMaker 
Customer Support at 800-325-2747.  There will be a minimal charge for shipping and handling of the downgrade 
media.
