On the 

 tab, add the people you interact with most frequently, so that you can always access them 

quickly.

On the 

 tab, tap 

, and then tap the contact you want to add.

Tap a default communication method for the selected contact. If you have added the People widget to 
the Home screen, you can tap favorite contacts to get in touch with them directly using this method. For 
more information, see “Home Screen” on page 21 for more information about adding widgets.

On the 

 tab, you can assign contacts to groups so you can easily send SMS, MMS, or email 

messages to a whole group. You can also sync your device’s groups with the groups in your Google 
account, accessible using your computer’s Web browser.

Select the contacts you want in the group. You can use the search bar to search for contacts quickly.
