11. Press the RUN key and the OM-550 will print the log interval, stop time and

prompt the user to choose if they want to print the data while logging. When
either YES or NO is selected the data collection process automatically begins.

12. When the data collection process is complete the data stored in the internal

cache can now be transferred to a PC.

13. Connect the RS-232 cable to the Data port on the OM-550 and make sure the

other end is connected to the PC (refer to section 3.3 DATA PORT
CONNECTION for more information).

14. Turn the OM-550 “ON” and transferred the data into the software program for

analysis and data basing. Use the appropriate OM-550 Software and Manual for
detailed data transfer information.
