Description
Use the
filter-policy export
command to configure RIP to filter the advertised
routing information.
Use the
undo filter-policy
export
command to configure RIP not to filter the
advertised routing information. This is the default.

Example
To filter the advertised route information using ACL 2000, enter the following:

Parameters
gateway ip_prefix_name
Enter the name of the address prefix list. This is used to
filter the addresses of the neighboring routers that are advertising the routing
information.

Enter an ACL number. This is used to filter the destination addresses
of the routing information.

Enter the name of the address prefix list. This is used to filter the
destination addresses of the routing information.
route-policy-name
: Route policy name that filters routing information. After
enabling RIP protocol, you can determine which routes are to be sent/received
based on acl/cost/interface/ip/ip-prefix fields.
