Available programming functions vary depending on the base unit the handset is 
registered to.
Please read the operating instructions included with your base unit.

Press {MENU} (middle soft key).

Press {V}, {^}, {

<}, and {>} to scroll through the menu.

Press {SELECT} when the desired menu item is selected.

Press {V} and {^} to scroll through the menu.

Press {SELECT} or {

>} when the desired menu item or setting is displayed.

Press {SAVE}, then press {OFF}.

The KX-TGA551 has certain features which differ from the handset included with your 
base unit, as indicated in the table below.

*1 USB-support allows you to connect the handset to your PC and send pictures and 

songs from your PC to the handset, as well as create and edit phonebook entries using 
your PC. This feature is not available with KX-TGA551 and KX-TG5583.
