2.  Lock the eyepieces into the eyetubes by 

tightening the silver screws on the under-
side of the eyetubes with a standard Cross 
type (Phillips) screwdriver (not provided).

 

The eyepieces will still rotate, but they 
will be captive in the eyetubes.

 

The standard viewing tube has a rotat-
able dovetail.  Therefore, you can now 

rotate the standard viewing tube freely in any 
orientation.

1.  Insert the eyepieces into the eyetubes.
